Thanks for sharing Chris, I’m really sorry for your loss.
You bring up a very important point: for the longest time medicine has been about classifying patients into categories relative to an elusive “average” patient. Yet, we now have the tech and the tools to really start looking at a patient… well, as an individual. So I might add: with more precise diagnoses, we may even identify new types of zebras, zebras every color of the rainbow, and start treating them with much more precise and personalized treatments too. Now that is exciting!
