Lorenzo Betanet 101: How To Use Lorenzo

We are excited to announce that Lorenzo is now live on the Beta mainnet! This document is designed to help you easily get onboarded and start using Lorenzo.

Whether you’re a seasoned user or new to the space, this guide will provide you with the necessary steps and information to make your experience with Lorenzo smooth and efficient.

How To Begin

1. Connect Wallet.

2. Confirm the wallet is successfully connected.

3. Approve the policy.

4. Start staking to all the available Staking Plans.

5. Start staking to the “Babylon Pre-launch Staking” Plan.

6. Confirm the amount you’d like to stake and click “Continue”

7. After confirmation, you shall see the pending BTC staking transaction, it will get confirmed about 6 block time on Bitcoin. And you shall receive stBTC after the staking transaction has been confirmed.

8. You could also click the top right avatar to check the personal center and check all the transaction states.

9. After the transaction is confirmed You could then bridge the stBTC received to the DeFi ecosystem on Bitlayer. Find “Bridge stBTC” on the dapp page.

10. Confirm the amount of stBTC that you wish to bridge.

11. Confirm the transaction.

12. Once the bridging transaction is successful, you should have received stBTC on Bitlayer, and you are then good to participate in the Bitlayer DeFi ecosystem with your stBTC!

Here is the tutorial for how to add stBTC on Bitlayer to your wallet (using OKX Wallet as an example):

1. Click “Manage Crypto”

2. Click “Custom Crypto”

3. Click “Network,” search for and select “Bitlayer”

4. In the “Contract Address” field, enter the Lorenzo stBTC contract address: 0xf6718b2701D4a6498eF77D7c152b2137Ab28b8A3. After loading the token information, click “Confirm.”

5. Finally, Lorenzo stBTC information will appear at the bottom of the Crypto list.

Here you can see your stBTC on Bitlayer and participate in more activities!
