There are many ways to cope with depression.
You can:
Take medication. It is important to act early because antidepressants may take up to 6 weeks to work.
Get sunshine
Use cognitive behavioral therapy. CBT can help with anxiety and depression, which often come together.
Remember, you got through this before and you can get through it again
Helping someone else can make you feel better
If you are spiritual going to your religion, higher power, can help
Sometimes a funny movie or book can distract you
