I say I am not a beach person, but that’s not true. I would rather deal with a sunburn then go in public wearing a bathing suit. Once my toes hit the sand, I cannot stop comparing my body to others. I show up in my pink hoodie cover up and flip flops, I’m feeling color coordinated and confident. I unveil myself and sit down quickly with a towel over my lap to hide my stomach. I could always put the cover up back on but that will probably attract more…
