The Color Creature

I sat in the art room ready to draw, I looked up from my desk and this is what a saw…

A color creature with tons of colors!

I said to the creature who are you? Are you from Mars, Venus or the zoo?

Then the creature smiled and said back to me, “no I’m an alien from Serious B and I’m here to give you creativity! Take my hand and don’t be slow! Let’s go on an adventure! Let’s go, go, go!

So I took his hand and together we flew, where we were going I never knew! Then all around me was a world of red! Red jams, jellies and bread. Red strawberries atop the tree! Red sweet treats and honeybees! The creature said again then “Take my hand and lets fly, to a land of all green!” Oh my!!

To a land of all green! It was the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! With grass licorice that you can eat! Yummy yummy yum! What a treat! A green parakeet says how do you do? Welcome to the green scene, so nice to meet you! Take my hand and we’re off!

Time for our next adventure! To the purple loft! The purple loft is so soft! Purple cotton covers the floor! Purple airplanes! How we soared! Purple grapes falling from the sky. Grapes so sweet my oh my! Purple flies sing a song so sweet! They are the friendliest flies you’ll ever meet! Back to the drawing board the creature said. And soon for the purple land we fled!

There I found I was back at the start. The creature, me and my art. Filled with colors galore. Of all of the things the creature and I explored. Farewell my colorful friend! We will be pals until the very end!
