I agree completely, Gabe. As a D7 resident surrounded by NIMBY neighbors I don’t know how my kids will ever be able to live near us — much less in San Francisco. Policies make it difficult to expand our existing home to accommodate multiple generations (legally anyway) Even efforts to build housing on giant vacant areas are met with resistance by my neighbors. I’m intrigued by BARF recently profiled in the NY Times. Keep up the good work at SPUR and Tipping Point.
