I think this is fine. It’s no great oddity to see seventeen year-olds playing against grown men in front of thousands on televised matches in South American soccer leagues. Certain Olympic events regularly feature athletes this age and younger. Borg, Nadal, Agassi, and more won games on the Tour aged 15; Hingis was world no.1 at 16. What’s the difference?

This will be something the lesser kids on those teams will remember for the rest of their lives.
