This New Moon is special.

It is as the bending of the nodes, which is to mean it squares the nodal axis of the North Node in Aries and the South Node in Libra. And, it triggers the solar eclipse (dictated by the nodes), which occurred October 14, 2023, at 21 degrees Libra.

At that time, I was writing about the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war and how the eclipse could symbolize it. Now, the headlines have shifted to include Lebanon, one of a few areas in which the war is threatening to expand.

We can suspect that the events surrounding this New Moon may reflect a new chapter in this war, or even war in general. (NOTE: This is not fear-mongering; fighting is a fact of life, and we would not be here if we and/or our ancestors had not fought for our freedoms.)

When a planet is in the bends of the nodes, however, its powers are diminished for a greater karma is at play. With the Sun in particular, it may feel like one has lessened control over an outcome. It can be extremely frustrating to get one’s way…
