From Mittelallalin, the real trek begins. Climbers set out across the Fee Glacier, a vast expanse of ice and snow that forms the initial phase of the ascent. Navigating through this terrain requires caution and skill, as hidden crevasses pose a significant risk. Rope teams are a common sight, with climbers tethered together for safety as they traverse the glacier.
