Jodie H. Dunn is young, but supremely talented songwriter beginning to make her mark in the music world and you can get an insight into her songwriting process here.

Music has always been a passion for Jodie, singing in the garden as a child before picking up a keyboard and teaching herself some skills. These skills then developed themselves into a tool to help her new-found talent of songwriting.

It wasn’t long before songwriting became like a diary for Jodie and she could express her emotions through her thought provoking lyrics. Unfortunately, Jodie was subjected to a lot of bullying during her school years and whilst she went through some unsavoury experiences, these have provided Jodie with fuel and inspiration for her songwriting. Consequently, the quality of lyricism and overall composition in her songs belies her years without a doubt.

Her latest single, ‘I Belong In Hell’ explores the idea of being controlled by someone else and feeling in a particularly low place. It was recorded at Greystoke studios with the help of producer Andy Whitmore, who has also worked with Elton John, Peter Andre and Danni Minogue.

Jodie has been working with Quite Great Music PR to help progress her career as a musician and so she’s sure to be a name you hear before long in the future.
