“Man I love Hip Hop”

I love hip hop and everything about it. No matter what they say, and what they do, and what I don’t do is what makes hip hop listenable. But what I hate about hip hop and completely agree with the video is that hip hop artist have to put a certain act to become who they are. Most rappers aren’t true to themselves, not because they don’t want to, but because that is the only way they will grab onto people’s attention. I, myself am a rapper. Most of my lyrics are things I don’t do, but only say what I say is to grab listeners attention. And like the video said, everyone wants respect and the only way you’re going to get respect is by acting tuff so other people can fear you and give you the respect you “deserve.” Music now a days is sexualized, not sure why, but most rappers rap about sex, men or women rap about sex. In my opinion, who cares what a rapper have to save, it’s freedom of speech. Let them say what they say, as long as it gets them a crowd and makes them money because by the end of the day, money is what matters most in life. We gotta sometimes fake it until we make it, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
