Regarding step 8, there’s also a plugin called Gb Sketch Nudge that basically does the same thing (but doesn’t require a separate app download).

You use Shift+Arrow Key for normal 10px nudge, or Ctrl+Shift+Arrow Key for a custom nudge amount. I keep mine set to 100px almost exclusively, unless I’m working with a grid with a custom offset value.
