Beware of Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing: The Tale of A Progressive Professor Who Forgot To Hide Her…
Kayla Renee Parker

I wish she had read Toni Morrison’s Beloved. Sociologists, no matter their perspective, are only going to speak of the trends. When I read that story, fiction though it may be, it was shattering in a way no dry, academic knowledge ever could be. Were families torn apart by the auction block? Not just that, but people had to compartmentalize their whole psyches to endure that reality. I’m really sorry this woman — and she sounds like a psycho; that go f* yourself with a dildo is batshit crazy, SO hostile, so awful — felt the need to make her point rather than listen to a possible alternative view than the one she had. I’m glad you stood your ground. I am just another white ally, and probably an imperfect one, but I wanted to say sorry, and oh my freaking god, why is she so stupid and then so belligerent to cling to her stupidity?
