4 steps to a good Social Media Content Strategy

How to ensure your content strategy is working

Every company knows it. The secret to social media is consistency, quality and interaction. But applying this knowledge is not as easy as it sounds. That’s where we can help. We get it, you have a business to run. And creating good content for your Social Media takes time, lot’s of time you may not have. We want to help and see your Social Media accounts grow and mainly, help you to get your message out there!

Step 1:

Getting to know your mission. Before we can do anything, we need to know why you’re using Social Media. And what you want to get out of it. If it’s just to grow your accounts, go buy your followers. It will be way cheaper than using us. We want to connect you with the right audience, prospects clients, people that care about what you do, people that can assist you in your business…

Than we determine what Social Media Platform is the best fit for your goals, your product and your company. Here is a list of all Social Media Platforms we can support you on:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • Medium
  • YouTube
  • Twitter
  • Pinterest

Step 2:

Once we agree with you on what platforms we should be focusing on, we create an overall design for all your content. These designs are made in to templates you will be able to use after you decide you don’t need our help anymore. This will allow you to keep a consistent theme on all your platforms and it helps people recognize your content. Below are some examples of what that looks like on different platforms:

Instagram:

By using the same font, having a small reference to your company or brand (like the signature in this case) and adding your username to every post, people will recognize your post in their newsfeed. It will attract their attention and you’ll get more interaction on your post. As mentioned before, we will deliver you the templates we created so that you can make your own posts when you decide you don’t need us anymore. If you decide to use our services, we’ll create consistent high quality posts, relevant to your brand and manage your full account.

Facebook:

A lot of people think Facebook is to big to stand out, or not enough people are actually paying attention to their Newsfeed. I love Facebook. I believe Facebook is as important as your website. It’s a “portfolio” of your companies’s content. Every kind of content is welcome on Facebook: pictures, video, live video, articles, links to your website… Not to mention the power of Facebook Ads. You can literally target anyone and track results. We help you to update your Facebook Profile and make a style and layout of your posts. We’ll create a content strategy and manage comments and interactions on your profile.

LinkedIn:

LinkedIn is relatively new to the Social Media party but it’s importance can not be underestimated. LinkedIn is a great way to stand out and connect with other people and companies within your industry. By writing articles natively in LinkedIn an sharing video and text updates, you’ll get a lot of attention from people that could boost your business on a professional level. Even when not using it for your business, it’s a great way to network and stay in touch with people. I personally never hand out business cards, I just give them my phone and connect on LinkedIn. It is also a great recruiting tool. If you think about it, what does a resume that’s one page long actually represent?

Medium:

Medium is a less well known Platform, but it is a great tool to publish articles. What’s great about Medium is that the platform is still small which makes it easier to grow an audience. The Platform is also based on the idea that the content you put out, and it’s quality are more important than the person that writes it. The content you create on Medium can also be used on Facebook and LinkedIn. So you write an article once, and you can share or copy it to 3 platforms. We can create that content for you and help you to come up with a strategy on what should be shared or copied to what platform.

YouTube:

Video is very powerful, in promoting, communicating and showing of your company, products or most importantly to share your story. Even internally, video can solve a lot of problems and save you a lot of time. From live-streaming to promotional videos, to vlogs. Video can in power your company and brand in ways nothing else can. We can provide you with top notch freelancers in the video space to make content optimized to your business and needs. We manage your profile, your interactions and help you create consistent and high quality content.

Twitter:

Twitter is a little bit different. It’s not so much about the quality, more about the speed and amount you put out. It is a platform that’s based on sharing ideas or plans in a short and fast way. What we offer is an analysis of your profile, brand your banner and profile picture, and help with managing reactions and shares. This platform is also really great to connect with people in your industry or to reach out to people you would otherwise never meet.

Pinterest:

Pinterest is a very specific platform. It’s a great way to share your own, or to save ideas you love. It’s great for artists or industries in arts&crafts, construction and design companies, architects… we can help promote your Pinterest account and create good blogpost to share on your profile. Again, quality and consistency are key here, and we can help you achieve both.

Step 3:

Creating quality content on a regular bases is important, but what’s arguably more important is to interact with your followers. This is the step that takes most of your time, and again we can help you here. We help you to come up with creative ideas to respond to as many clients, followers at once as possible. Like organizing a weekly, monthly livestream where people can ask questions and get a response in real time or later by watching the published livestream. Or by making a short video answering one specific question. After all it’s 2017, answering emails is kind of getting old now…

Step 4:

Analyzing results. Creating content and interacting with your following is important, but if no ones is responding, you’re probably doing something wrong. That’s why we keep evolving and fine tuning your content strategy every day. Keeping an open mindset and listening to you and your clients, followers are fundamentally important and we’ll assure you you can hold us to that.
