Thank you for sharing, Betta. Trying to get rid of vermin is a real issue. Obviously, one can’t have them around the house — too many disease. Poison is good except for the crawling away somewhere to die. Traps — well as you describe — none are foolproof, and I too have a serious prejudice against causing anything a lingering, painful death. (Except to murderers, rapists, child molsters, etc.)
