Scott, thanks for the comment. You’re correct that the maps would be better with city expenditures. For that, we’d need the city to disclose their data which may or may not happen especially if they haven’t hired us to do the analysis.

What I did was an example anyone else is welcome to follow or improve on. I have a number of ongoing projects that means I won’t be able to get to doing this for Plano within a meaningful time frame. Really it would be fairly straightforward for anyone with GIS experience.
