Defying something, has nothing to do with making a law.

Wow, how old are you? 12? The writer quoted the text, did you bother to read it? Pass no law? To defy the 1st amendment you have to pass a law restricting those things, so again, can you point to the law?

Criticizing reporters is not restricting freedom of speech in the slightest. They have the right to say whatever they want, so does Trump. When you say things to attack Trump, Trump has every right to reply.

There is nothing in the 1st amendment that makes reporters or media immune to criticism.
