I appreciate where you are coming from, but for me, the key is to take extended breaks from FB and to unfollow or defriend those people who revealed themselves as toxic, rather than the FB platform that gave those people the means to be toxic (or the means to be positive!).

Still, it is important to take care of ourselves and our mental and emotional health. There certainly was, and continues to be, a lot of negativity on social media.
