30 reasons

In honor of this being my 30th blog post in 30 days, I am going to list 30 reasons why my last 30 days have been great :)

  1. I learned the fundamentals of ballet.
  2. I made friends with my barista coworkers.
  3. I met with two professors and talked about sustainable food systems.
  4. I went contra dancing.
  5. I cooked delicious new dishes like mushroom tortellini soup, stuffed acorn squash, sweet potato peanut bisque, and white bean patties.
  6. I decided to work towards designing my own major.
  7. I bought my mom a vegetable t-shirt.
  8. I taught a fun fraction lesson to sixth graders.
  9. I turned 17.
  10. I made money by working.
  11. I moved to a new dorm.
  12. I spent a few lovely weekends with Luke in Lexington, KY.
  13. Luke came and visited me and made me granola.
  14. Luke and I have grown closer than ever even though we live apart.
  15. My sister and brother and I have a group chat we talk in everyday.
  16. I get free food and coffee.
  17. I’ve been at least 70% vegan.
  18. I have a lunch crew on Mondays, Wednesday’s , and Friday’s.
  19. My communications class has been really thought-provoking and helpful.
  20. My car hasn’t broke down.
  21. I haven’t slept past 9:30 AM.
  22. I’ve talked to my parents nicely almost everyday.
  23. I’ve worn lots of cute outfits. Like this one:

24. I got my haircut.

25. I didn’t get sick.

26. I ran my fastest mile ever.

27. I made fall crafts like this canning ring pumpkin:

28. Luke and I successfully watched a movie together over Skype.

29. I survived catering a 250 person banquet.

30. I blogged everyday!

Look at all those reason to be happy! If you’re feeling down, try to think of all the good things that have happened to you in the past month, no matter how small :-)
