Some Improvement . . . Zombie Fitness
Yes, we did it. Took the follow-up photos. There isn’t the vast improvement that I’d hoped for fitness-wise, but I am slightly less ashamed to show my arms than I was at the beginning of the summer.
I started working on my fitness goals 37 days ago and I know that my clothes are fitting better — and my arms are better than when I started — but I will need to keep going if I want to be proud to show off.
So, here’s to another day of Zombie Fitness, as I call it; where I climb out of bed and head for the treadmill for an hour and a half — eyes half closed, kicking myself for leaving the comfort of my bed when there’s nowhere significant to go. By the time I actually wake up — about an hour and 10 minutes in — I jog for a bit and finally work up a sweat. Keep in mind that I have to repeat this ritual at least twice more to reach my 20,000 steps a day goal…
I just have to keep reminding myself that anything worth having is worth working for . . . .
