“Education gives me the opportunity to understand what I am doing professionally. The balance between media and academia is more of a communal relationship”.

Morehouse College — If you are a student at this illustrious historical black institution, then the name Temitayo Agoro rings the bell. His positive energy and non stop hustle is essential to the lives of numerous young black individuals that walk the legendary campus. Not only does his attitude shines brighter than the sun, but his hustle is harder than the concrete.

A Nigerian American youth from Dallas, Texas. Temitayo knew that he was destined for greatness. Once a promising athlete who was a draft pick for the NFL in 2016, Agoro found a different avenue to travel.

The origin of his celebrity on the Atlanta University Center grounds is known. Not only does his vibrant spirit speaks for itself, but his mission to reach people of all ages through media is the cornerstone for his success. As Co Founder and CEO of AUCCAM; a production company that promotes academic excellence towards students of color that attend institutions within the Atlanta University Center branch, the graduating senior strives to unite young audiences with powerful imagery.

“The business that we have is geared towards the community in the AUC” says Agoro. “We have the ability to capture context in a way to spread new narratives”.

It can be a little challenging for a collegian who is halfway completing his undergrad and also maintaining a growing business in the process. Juggling trying to capture best footage while trying to maintain a perfect grade point average can cause a lot of commotion. However in Agoro’s eyes, education is his only source of inspiration in his plight to constantly produce digital content. He views pursuing an degree, and building his AUCCAM empire more of a mutual connection.

“Education gives me the opportunity to understand what I am doing professionally” says Temitayo. “The balance between media and academia is more of a communal relationship”.

“He is a man who pushed beyond their personal realms. He is a role model who succeeds in making this world a better place. An ability that Mother Morehouse blessed us with in the beginning”.

The power of balance is a God given gift for Agoro as the AUCCAM company have reached over 23,000 followers on Instagram, and has branched out to numerous elementary and middle schools in the Atlanta area. Although his media organization is further transitioning into a multi media empire, Temitayo is still pushing to recruit more young students, who are gifted in media technology to be apart of his company.

“I plan to get more students involved in our company” says Agoro. “And that is to gain new ways to capture great things by collaborating with talented young people”

As he is preparing to conclude his matriculation at the school and is getting ready to cross the bridge into a Morehouse Man, Temitayo offers his own definition of what that title truly means in his heart.

“He is a man who pushed beyond their personal realms” Agoro says as he explains his meaning of a Morehouse Man. “He is a role model who succeeds in making this world a better place. An ability that Mother Morehouse blessed us with in the beginning”.

We can accurately predict that black Hollywood has a seat with his name on it. Temitayo Agoro is a Renaissance man that is ahead of his time. Through his catalog of work, and his talent to bring Afro American life to millions of viewers, Agoro has the capabilities of being the Spike Lee of our generation, or even growing to become the next Will Packer. But maybe he’s planning to be the next Temitayo Agoro — an multi media entrepreneur of black television.
