Orange Essential Oil
If you are looking for a natural way to scent your soap, orange essential oil is a great option. Orange oil has a sweet, citrusy smell that is refreshing and invigorating. It is also said to be uplifting and can help boost your mood. Adding orange oil to your soap will give it a bright, cheerful look and smell.

Vanilla Absolute

Here is the vanilla absolute I like to use.
Orangesicle Foaming Hand Soap Recipe
- 1 tablespoon Unscented Castile Soap
- 10 drops Orange Essential Oil
- 4 drops Vanilla Absolute
- 1 teaspoon Vegetable Glycerin
- 2 tablespoons Distilled water
- Mini Soap Foamer Bottle
Simple 1–2–3 Method
Step1: Use a funnel to add castile soap, vegetable glycerin & essential oils to foaming soap bottle.
Step 2: Gently swirl around the bottle to mix the glycerin, soap, and essential oil together.
Step 3: Add distilled water to the bottle and screw foamer top on. Gently shake the mixture up. Dry bottle off and put a label on.
To Use: Pump soap into the palm of the hand, about 2–3 pumps of soap. Rub hands together reaching all hand surfaces, rinse with warm water. Dry.
Essential Oil Recipe Tips:

- When using essential oils on the skin, be sure to use only high-quality essential oils that are safe to use topically.
- Orange essential oil is a favorite for children, they can really connect with the smell, but you can try different essential oils like melaleuca (tea tree), lavender, tangerine, chamomile, or juniper berry.
- I usually buy the unscented castile soap but you can buy scented if you so choose. Here are my favorite castile soap and glycerin.
