A lot of navel gazing here. What you fail to note, among this long list of valid complaints, is that a vote is not an absolute endorsement. It is a choice between flawed choices. A possible megalomaniac on one side versus a died-in-the-wool socialist on the other. I think the choice is pretty clear. In the vernacular of the day, choose your poison.
