Short Skirt and Shorter Stories are still relevent.

I didn’t put a huge amount of effort into finding an editor, literary agent, or publisher for my new collection of short stories because I have a lot faith in humaniy. A woman at Random House told me that no one reads short stories anymore. What a silly statement. People love short stories whether concocted for the web via youtube or published on The Digg people crave humor, pathos, entertainment with relevant story arcs and relatable characters. People like short stories because they can invest in them over a coffee break, on a commute or on the treadmill. Passion, courage, and veneration aren’t qualities exclusive to one generation over another.
