Why Defending Your Cultural Appropriation is Dangerous
Ana Thomas

White people invented the zipper, it’s culural appropriation for black people to wear pants without white people’s permission, same for the NFL, NBA and major league baseball. White people invented recorded music and the instruments black people play Jazz with, without white people, no Louis Armstrong. White people are free to dress and express themselves as they please without complaints. Obviously Thomas’s Ethnic Studies classes never taught her about dreads in Celtic culture.
