I saw the red progress bar. The world’s longest loading screen, and it was unskippable. I had to sit there, waiting. I couldn’t check my phone or have a snack. I had to wait. When the loading screen finally ended, I slowly opened my eyes. The fluff surrounding my vision blurred out the large tubs flowing around me and into my chest. The light dimly illuminated my face and the blue bed I lay on. My mother had been waiting, and that red progress bar became an outline on my chest, a permanent scar.
