This is one of those positive phrases that you need to be careful about how to interpret.
Being optimistic and positive does not mean that we must act with a strategy based solely on luck.
In short, if you want to order a dozen oysters and hope to pay with the pearl, also prepare a plan B for emergencies.
The optimists are right. And the pessimists too. It is up to you to choose which of the two to be.
