This is key. We’re not designing experiences. We’re designing (suggesting?) paths. As you mentioned, people’s experiences can vary big time from one another even if the service or it’s touchpoints are presented the same way for everyone.
You clearly don’t know what Design is.
Design is always, with no exception, human-centred. Therefore, considering emotions are obviously an essential piece to it.
