What is STEM
STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering and math, and define a school program which group these disciplines.
This sector was created to respond to new challenges of the world of today. The need of different countries to stay economically competitive with futures employees with scientific competency and knowledge.
STEM is an interdisciplinary approach to learning where rigorous academic concepts are coupled with real-world lessons as students apply science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in contexts that make connections between school, community, work, and the global enterprise enabling the development of STEM literacy and with it the ability to compete in the new economy.
A student who chooses the STEM sector, will be choose a specialization because there is no a stem job clearly identified, but the knowledge of this sector is used in many different jobs. For each specialization, the student may choose a career that allows him to solve problems, develop new ideas and conduct research.

Take a look on Full-Stack Web Developers: a web developer codes and designs the layout and structure of a website. So the developer will use scientific reasoning and data to develop strategies and solutions for solving a host of technological issues.
It’s important to a developer to well understand the need of a client, to make a good analysis of the demand of his client, the developer must solve problems and be creative to find solutions. It is important for the developer to be organized and pay attention to details.
This career learns to you that is necessary to learn every day, because in web development the language changes very quickly and to stay efficient you need to stay aware about new languages.
Today for a full stack developer, the most wanted technology is the framework React with the language Javascript, but Python is always in the run and a new language appear Go, so it is very important to stay flexible and ready to learn other language but in all cases, the developer has the logic.
For me, a web developer is an artisan of the web, because he needs to have a specific knowledge, he builds something, and he provides advice to his clients.
Another thing is important and you can see that in STEM studies, it is the team work. In STEM studies, you learn with other specialties and you can discuss about other domain and their interactions and when you are in the work market, you should keep this soft kill because you must find interest with other departments of your company to have a better comprehension of your company and of the clients of your company. This better understanding makes you a better developer.
For conclusion, let me tell you why I chose the full stack specialization. I were looking for a new career, and a lot of times I saw some advertising for studies with the title “women in tech”, so i made some research and i saw that i can find myself in tech because i like to know how things work, do it myself what i need, have the possibilities to work everywhere in the world, be logic, learn always learn and keep my own experience: team work, be conscientious, my user experience.
