sorry for my late reply. Unfortunately, I’m not using this setup anymore and never had this problem. I found this question on SO that might be linked to your problem: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/29432899/gitlab-prompts-for-git-password-when-cloning-a-git-repository, could there be a group missing as explained in an answer ?
