Ladies who have touched the hearts of countless people and inspired them.

In India now, 20% of all businesses are owned by women. A few female dynamos with outstanding entrepreneurship talents have gained notoriety as the country continues to work hard to alter its economic and social development status through women-owned firms. Women entrepreneurs in India have been shattering glass ceilings and encouraging the rest of us every day to take control of our careers and thrive at whatever we want to do in fields including image consulting, e-commerce, science, technology, entertainment, and fashion.

1: Falguni Nayer(nykaa)

Falguni Nayar's road to become the most well-known self-made female billionaire in India in 2021 was nothing short of amazing. She bravely decided to start over after a successful 20-year career as the managing director of Kotak Mahindra Capital Co. when she was just shy of 50. Yet after earning her degree from IIM Ahmedabad and growing up watching her father operate a small bearings business, she just knew she had what it took to succeed as a businesswoman. Age therefore had no bearing on her.

The beauty market was fragmented in 2012, the year Nykaa launched. But, because to Nykaa’s rapid growth and Falguni’s leadership, everyone now has access to an affordable one-stop beauty shop.

2: Divya Gokulnath ( Byju’s)

Byju's, one of India's largest ed-tech firms, was co-founded by Divya Gokulnath.

From Bangalore, Divya pursued a B.Tech in biotechnology. She began working as a teacher before helping to co-found Byju's in 2011.

Divya oversaw brand marketing, content, and user experience during the COVID-19 lockdown in India.

She won numerous honours, including Women Who Make India, the Entrepreneur of the Year, and the MAKERS India Conference.

Byju's has received a total of $5.5 billion in investment, valued at $23 billion. Whereas Divya and her husband Byju Raveendran are worth a combined $3.05 billion.

3: Radhika Ghai Aggarwal (Shopclues)

In addition to being the founder and CEO of Kindlife.in, Radhika Ghai served as the co-founder and CBO of the e-commerce company ShopClues.

Radhika earned her MBA in advertising and public relations from Washington University. She also enrolled in Stanford University's executive programme. Radhika worked in marketing for Nordstrom in Seattle after completing her schooling.

Afterwards, she was employed by Goldman Sachs in strategic planning. In 2011, she co-founded ShopClues with Sandeep Aggarwal and Sanjay Sethi.Radhika joined the Unicorn club as the first woman from India. She has won numerous accolades, including the Exemplary Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, CEO of the Year, Outlook Business Woman of Value, and the Entrepreneur Award.

Shopclues had a valuation of $1.1 billion before being purchased by Singapore-based Qoo10 for between $70 and $100 million. Around $1 million is Radhika's personal net worth.

4: Supriya Paul ( Josh Talks)

Co-founder and CEO of Josh Talks, a media platform that connects people in Tier II and III cities with appropriate role models so they can learn from them and progress in their lives, is Supriya Paul.

After finishing his studies at Sri Venkateswara College, Paul and Shobhit Banga co-founded Josh Talks in 2015. The organization's mission is to assist Indians from smaller towns or cities who struggle to find employment, don't speak English well, or require career advice.

The app has over one million downloads, over 100K paid customers on Josh Skill, is accessible in ten regional languages, and under Josh Kosh, it offers career advice to over 500K people each month.

It is valued at $20.2 million and has funding of $4.99 million. Supriya was included in the 2018 edition of Asia's 30 Under 30, and she also won the 2017 SheThePeople Digital Women Award for Outstanding Content Production.
