I’m back!
First of all, I apologise for writing this 12 hours later than planned, as well as quite a few recent blogs. I had absolutely no energy for writing this last night, and so I am writing this now. Second of all, I’m still not 100% myself again, but I think I’m getting there slowly. Third, I actually think my parents and Josh did quite well as my substitutes. Still not as good as me though.
So yesterday was an early start, because we had to be out of the Villa by 8am in order to get here on time. After a lot of packing and a lot of double checking, we were finally on the road. About half an hour in, I realised I was hungry – please bear in mind that I really have not been eating much at all, so this was good – but the only thing I was hungry for was an apple. Tastebuds are really weird.
So we drove and I ate, and then we arrived at the bay where we were catching the boat to get to Drake’s Bay, where we are now. Mum had travel sickness tablets at the ready for all of us, but mostly for Dad, as he gets incredibly sea sick.

To be honest, I have no idea how he managed it. The hour consisted of waves. Oh so many waves. Big ones, little ones, giant ones, and the whole time we were going at the speed of ‘too fast’, as Dad says. The rest of us enjoyed it though.

The wind was also so strong that I was scared to take photos for the fear of my phone falling in the water. I did manage to get a few though.

We finally reached Drake’s Bay. It is, however, completely secluded. We are the only people here and we can’t leave the island unless it’s on a boat. But the views are amazing.

So that was pretty much our day, and we were all asleep before 9. Again.
Good to be back.
