Special Feature – Roger Blitz
Good evening.
Or good morning.
I am the father of the international bloggist Lucy Blitz, who goes by the title, Blitz’n.
This is a special guest blog, owing to the illness of Blitz’n. She has a fever. I am writing this blog about the events of Tuesday, although I am writing it on Wednesday. So I have the advantage of knowing how she now is feeling, even though, under the terms of this guest blog, I can’t tell you. You will find out in a jiffy.
Tuesday she was crap. Long car journey – crap. Appetite – crap. Interest in anything other than sleep – crap. Sleep – crap.
She missed a swim at our Jungle Villa apartment in the resort of Manuel Antonio, our homemade pasta supper, numerous rounds of cards and poker and the jungle that surrounds our residence.
She also missed these crocodiles on the journey down here. The crocs were not as scary as walking along the highway to the vantage point to see them. Luckily, I had Josh between me and the oncoming traffic. Pics of crocs below.

We are entering the home straight of the Blitz’n Costa Rican adventure. Great country. Roads – not so much. Food – ok. Wildlife – by the bucketload.
Having a great time,
Blitz’n Senior.
