Ugh. Being ill sucks.
So just a brief note, I am fine. I don’t (or at least I think I don’t) have any kind of virus or bug or anything like that. Just not feeling myself at all today. For those of you who are worrying, however small a number that may be, please don’t.
So, this is usually the point where I start the main part of the day. But, since my afternoon was filled with friends, pillows and tea, I really didn’t have a very interesting day. So instead, I thought I would round up some of the events going on around the world right now. Note – if you don’t like anything to do with politics or you have already seen enough of this that you literally cannot be bothered to hear my ridiculously shortened version, please skip to the end.
- Big Ben fell silent today for four years because it needs some TLC. It will still ring at New Year and Remembrance Day.
- There was a solar eclipse on my side of the world today, but obviously, Dad was the only one who saw it, which is ironic seeing as he can’t see a massive lizard sitting five metres away from him.
- The final lineup for this years Strictly was confirmed, but I don’t actually watch it. Oh well.
- There’s been a headline that the new GCSES are the hardest since O-Levels. Yeah, like the entire of my year didn’t already know that. Thanks for the additional pressure.
And yeah, that’s about all I’ve got. You may have noticed that I haven’t added anything about the US or the President simply because I don’t even want his name to appear on my blogs. Anyway, that’s all for politics. Sorry that I had to show my political side to take up space.
So since I have nothing very interesting related to me in this blog, here are some photos from the past few days to lighten up your morning reading. Enjoy ;)
