Looking into simplistic and clean logos
General Logo Research
I chose these logos as I think they all work very well and are clear, simplistic yet interesting images which draw your attention. They would also all work well using different colours, along with black and white.
Foodie Company Logos
I thought it would be interesting and important to look into food company logos seeing as I am making recipes/cooking the main focus of my website. They all vary so much, majority of which focus on the type of food the company serve to lead the style of branding. Many of the jpanese brands are very simplistic, clean and use majority sans serif type. The coffee shop logos tend to be quite quirky, experimenting with different type and shape.
Food Waste Logos
When researching into food waste companies logos, they all consisted of similar colours relating to food waste, green, blues etc. Natural, simple and inviting colours. My favourite Logo is the OLIO one, I think it works really well and is quite an engaging and trustworthy logo. It is not so obvious as being a food waste company though, but Ithink that is why it works well.
