I still remember when I was a child, I secretly took pocket money for game-card just for couple of hours gaming time? When i was a student, saving the cost of living only for two hours of games in the Internet bar? Unconsciously, the game has gradually become a part of the lives for many people with a variety of game modes are constantly emerging. From client game to the webgame to the mobile game, from the Blue Ocean to the Red Ocean, the competition is turning hot. The blockchain gaming of the new era has gradually become a new game battlefield, and it also gives traditional game manufacturers a chance to overtake a corner. Recently, the Ludos Japan team and the DeNA Game Group Japan branch launched a blockchain technology exchange, and conducted preliminary intention cooperation discussions on overseas blockchain gaming production and player community construction.

Seeking breakthroughs in the ever-changing gaming industry

Speaking of the Japanese mobile game company DeNA, the game industry peers are very familiar with. DeNA Group was founded in 1999 and successfully listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2005. Then DeNA Group became a deep partner of Nintendo of Japan and jointly developed many popular games.

DeNA Game Group Technical Director said, “ DeNA has been constantly thinking about the needs of users and the times, and continues to develop new services since its inception in 1999. The business has expanded from the online auction, advertising, SNS to the game field, and officially opened up the Chinese market in 2010. As the business landscape expands, we are also interested in the innovation of the game industry. We believe that adding blockchain technology to our games at this stage is an important step for DeNA and a new challenge that we will face.”

As the mobile game market matures, the fun of traditional games has become “deteriorating”, not only for players, but also for game companies to revisit this issue. The essence of a good game is to bring joy to the players, but no matter how finely operated, there will always be player loss. It is impossible for the game company to set up consumers and seduce them to pay,. Ludos believes that through the blockchain technology and the embeddedness of the player community, DeNA’s games will become a good memory for these players.

Innovate gameplay from the player’s perspective

When talking about the Japanese mobile game industry, the DeNA product manager revealed his opinion to Ludos: “With the continuous development of the mobile game industry, the research and development technology of various mobile game manufacturers is also improving, and then The gap between the current game screens is getting smaller and smaller. It can be said that the picture quality of these works is greatly improved compared with the previous works, and can be compared with the works of the major console games.”

Throughout DeNA’s games, both are well-made with fine digital frame, but the technological innovation in gameplay is still one of DeNA’s urgent problems.

As the game stretches extended, the target player’s preferences will continue to change. In contrast, the player base will be spread out to increase the difficulty of operations. The preliminary intentional cooperation between Ludos and DeNA is mainly based on the innovation of DeNA’s traditional gameplay through blockchain technology to solve the game’s game freshness. At the same time, Ludos will provide DeNA with a full player research environment, through the Ludos eco-player feedback on the improved DeNA game, accurately grasp the player’s preferences, and import Ludos player incentive system to solve the DeNA player’s pull and retention problem.

In the future, Ludos will work with DeNA Game Group to create a new game diversified universe, build an open, transparent and logically feasible game environment, attract more mainstream people through new game incentives, and promote the rapid development of the entire industry.
