It is about authenticity and genuine reflection for what you perceive the design to be. ‘Flat Design’ was a mere trend of Swiss Design only 50 years later. But almost ‘everyone did it’ meaning, everyone copied it. If you follow true principles of design, and do your own interpretation of those principles, you’ll come up with your unique rendition. But it might seem templates and mock ups are the daily consumption of a group of today designers, I’m not certain on whether this group is a minority or majority.
