Nice. Nice that you said Service Design IS Design. And that includes the core activities of design: problem framing, research, analysis, reframing, synthesis and realization. Those activities can be applied to the physical and digital activities. Some service designers have told me they don’t do research…they get research results…and that’s a flaw.
I’m a bit concerned of the hype of service design and service design as careers when…it’s design! (as described above) – don’t you think?
