THE PRIVILEGE OF KNOWING GOD

Philippians 3.7–11

Although we know many people in our lives, sometimes we feel especially privileged to have met certain people, like a believer who has inspired us a childhood hero, or someone who has helped us in time of need. However, even it has been wonderful to have these special people in our lives, the greatest privilege of all is to know God. Even those extraordinary people know you can not give us the joy and satisfaction we crave. That’s why often seek acceptance of the world as we forget the treasure of truly know the living God.

Often, people are “saved” and are satisfied with this first-the knowledge of a few truths about God step is enough for them. If you ask them: “God know?” Most I would say yes. But there is a big difference between knowing facts about God and have a personal relationship with Him. Believers should be closer Father -Learning about who He is and what it considers important.

While we live depending on us, we never really know God; He will show a humble and transparent heart, not one filled with pride and arrogance. It is in our brokenness and powerlessness that we discover who the Lord.

Do you have genuine hunger to know God? If so, ask, “Who are you, Lord? How are you? “Then open his heart, not by him -for already knows you perfectly- but for their own good. By spending time with the Lord, you will discover how privileged is true.
