Mastering asynchronous communication can free us (or at least help us feel free). Like Arjun says in his article, I am also working on routing as many of my communications to asynchronous tools. My ideal tool would be twitter, but most people have not embraced it yet. Unlike landlines; which gave us “time-off” when we were away from home; cellphones created the expectation of “always available”. Not very supportive of focused work. It takes time to accomplish the shift but it is well worth it. Thanks Arjun. 👍🏻
