Letter To Autumn
Dear Autumn,
You come every year and you make me happy more and more. You make me think about all that’s happened. About how many people came to my life and how many I’ve lost. You make me think about life and what would it be like to travel.
I love how you make the sky grey and the clouds curly. I love to walk in the rain you make. To feel teardrops on my skin and walk in little puddles. It’s silly, I know, but it makes me happy in ways, nothing else does. I love to come home from rain and to hear the storm behind the windows. To take off wet clothes, put on dry ones and curl up in bed and soft sheets. I love to read books in park with hot tea in my hand. I love to step on crunchy leaves and to make piles of them. I jump in the with brother. I love to put on big jumpers and scarfs aroud my neck. To see how you change the world around me and I must say, it is beautiful.
Autumn, I wait for you every year and when you’re finally here, the time speeds up and you’re too short. I wish I could spend more time with you.
