Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security to protect your account on websites/applications. Instead of only entering a password to log in, you’ll also enter a code or use a security key. This additional step helps make sure that only you can access your account and prevent someone else from getting into your account.

Because your password is no longer enough to secure your account, we recommend you to use MYOTPS. MYOTPS is a one-stop authenticator similar to Google Authenticator that helps to increase your security dramatically and decrease threats from someone who tries to steal your account. Every time you want to login to your account, you’ll be asked to enter a 6-digit verification code from MYOTPS that only you can get in your device.

MYOTPS has an advantage even your device is lost or broken, you can backup and restore your 2FA, as long you remember your phone number and passwords registered in the MYOTPS system. You can download MYOTPS on Google Play [Download MYOTPS]

And these are the steps of how to integrate your Linkedin account with MYOTPS:

  1. Login on your Linkedin account by entering your email address and password

2. Go to Account and open Settings & Privacy

3. On Account click Login and security to find Two-step verification and click Change

4. Click Continue, after that, you’ll be asked to enter your password to verify then click Done

5. Integrate Two-Factor Authenticator using MYOTPS either with scan QR Code or input Secret Key

6. Open MYOTPS you can choose to scan QR code or Secret Keys to integrate

7. If you choose to scan the QR Code, please scan QR Code that appears on Linkedin to activate two-way authenticator

8. If you choose to input the Secret Keys, please input the application/website name, your account name and Secret Key that appears on Linkedin

9. After you finish scan QR code or input Secret Keys, MYOTPS will generate 6-digit verification code

10. Back to Linkedin and input 6 digit verification code from MYOTPS then click Continue

11. Yay! You have successfully integrated 2-Step verification with MYOTPS, use MYOTPS in all your website/application to stay secure

12. Remember to backup your token in MYOTPS in case your device is lost or stolen.
