Why My Life is a Miracle

The Story of an Adopted Entrepreneur

At only 25 years old, I’ve seen more success than the average young adult. For me to say that I’m thankful would be an understatement. I am absolutely living the dream. I get to wake up every single day to do what I love and work with an amazing team that my business partner, Jeff Welsh, and I built from scratch. I’m an investor in a fitness and life style clothing company as well as a partner with my two cousins, Chris Sinn and Justin Sinn, and my best friend, Landon Moyer in a major fertilizer business in St. Louis.

I sometimes get so caught up in the hustle and grind from 5:00 AM to midnight that I forget how lucky I am to even be here right now.

Not many people know this about me

I’m lucky enough to say that I’m adopted. I was adopted by Clint and Vickie Nesler when I was 3 days old. My beautiful birth mother was not in a position to give me the life that she thought I deserved upon birth so she allowed for me to take on a life that I am extremely grateful for.

It’s important to note that I have a solid relationship with my birth mother, 3 birth sisters and my brother in law; which I am extremely grateful for.

My parents were both school teachers. I grew up my entire life being around the education system. I was not the best student to say the least and I KNEW that I did not want to take on the role of being a professional educator. I may have not been the best student but I had more hustle than damn near everyone that I went to school with (Kindergarten — College Grad).

During my senior year at West Virginia University, I took a major risk and dove head first into the business world and opened up Nesler Media (a commercial film production shop). With 21+ credit hours at WVU and running a full time business, I learned very quickly that I had what it took to “make it” as a business man.

AND I WAS PUMPED THAT I STILL WASN’T A TEACHER.

Nesler Media was taking off and doing extremely well but something wasn’t right… I was making quality films for my clients but I hated the fact that I could see other mistakes that they were making in their marketing efforts and I wasn’t doing anything about it. They would purchase a great marketing film from me and use it COMPLETELY wrong.

Something had to change…

I was blessed to meet my best friend, brother and now business partner during my Nesler Media venture and we both had a vision. Jeff was a talented graphic and web designer that also wanted to do more for his clients to help them grow their businesses. And so Impakt Marketing was born but like Two Chains says in his hit song…

I’m Different. Yea I’m Different ;)

Impakt is a totally different type of agency. We don’t do business with just anyone. We only work with business men and women who truly have a passion for what they are doing and want more out of their professional life. We are also the state’s (and beyond) strictly digital ad agency. We teach our clients how they can grow their businesses in today’s digital world. My theory is…

“market and advertise where everyone pays attention.”

We specialize in website design, video production and strategic social media campaigns. We educate our clients to use these digital tools to dominate their industry.

When I step back to see the 13 person team that I have been able to build with Jeff, it blows my mind. As we take a step back and see what we have built, I quickly realized that I did end up becoming an educator… I found what I was passionate about and helped others live their dream by educating them on how to do so with authority.

And to think… this incredible journey almost never existed. My life truly is a miracle. Happy Holidays and much love to you and your families.
