Bravo! Quick question: why did you guys not open up your own EIP for this?

So in my mind, the EIP is already done in ERC721 and ERC1178. What we’ve made is a kind of flavor of ERC721, just like how you can have github-flavored markdown vs Gruber’s original markdown. It has some extra features, but it still does fully supports the entire ERC721 interface.

I don’t think this is any different in the regular programming world. As more people use the technology in real life, there will be demand for many flavors of existing standards.
