This is everything! It is undeniable that most popular trends and forms of art and entertainment almost always have roots in the pain, anger, joy, and thus incredible creative powers of marginalized minority groups. (Contouring came from drag!) Too often we only credit the people who brought it to the mainstream. Feels so good to see history acknowledged! Great read.
