Your Ultimate Guide to Goa

G. O. A.

Three little letters.

Loads of fun.

I’ve spent the past week in Goa — India’s number one beach haven. Since Goa is such a sought-after getaway destination, I figured I would create a guide for those looking to maximize their time in this beautiful Indian state stretching along the Arabian Sea.

Thalassa

Have you ever experienced deja vu? So much of my stay in Goa has been a constant reminder of my time in Santorini, Greece (Read: Lulu Meets Greece). Dinner and dancing at Thalassa isn’t complete without dropping by their pop-up shops for dainty accessories to compliment your cover-up. I highly recommend their risotto paired with Madera rose wine!

Antares

Superb service paired with an awe-inspiring view of the Indian Ocean. A little piece of Australia.

Curlie’s

A beach shack with a view of Anjuna beach. Enough said.

Cafe Al Fresco by Bodega

For my fellow art lovers, Bodega’s courtyard cafe is your go-to spot for eggs bennies, cappuccinos, and inspiring paintings.

As a general rule, the months of November to January is the best time to visit Goa, after the monsoon season. Remember to book your flight and accommodation several months prior to peak season to get the best bang for your buck!

I’m back in Bombay but I will continue to share my experiences in Goa and at India Beach Fashion Week!

Happy Holi in advance! x
