51% of Crypto Enthusiasts prefer to HODL During the Crypto Winter
Lumeos conducted a survey to learn about the preferences of the crypto enthusiasts during this crypto winter, and we learned that approximately 51% of the crypto enthusiasts were more likely to HODL (or not sell) in the bear market. Out of those surveyed only 19% where accredited investors (more experienced investors with a higher net worth).
On the other hand, 22% of the group said they are buying the dip, while 6% have already sold.
The survey which reached over a 1000 crypto enthusiast in the Lumeos audience, got over 550 responses in 2 days.
The audience is well versed with crypto dApps and is located worldwide with majority presence in US, Korea and UK.
An investor should be familiar with the variables and factors that could influence the ROI of the investments. However for the casual investor HODLing is a simpler resort to preserve earned cryptocurrency. Accredited investors are more experienced in investing, and based on the survey are the ones who are buying and selling, rather than HODLing.
