Since then, it seems as though every other week we hear of new data breaches breaking out. There is clearly little trust in the system, and ultimately consumers are the ones who have to pay with their data. The major innovation that blockchain technology has dawned upon us is trust and not money. The system which enables peer to peer value exchange, the removal of the middleman, it is a breakthrough in computer science that holds the promise of reducing the cost of establishing and maintaining trust for both individuals and organizations.
