Well, I’ll admit, the identity of the person speaking has in fact made me more likely to listen, and this is another lesson I need to learn. The argument itself was what got me thinking, but the person is who got me listening. Yes, its a bias, and I recognize this, and am doing my best to fix that, but its likely something that will always remain slightly. We all have a slight bias towards something. I am working on making it smaller at least.
