Q1 L1 Task Force Status Update
The following summary provides a status update for activities for the L1 Task force from January 16th to January 20th, 2023.
Q1 Roadmap and Release Milestones
Currently, the L1 Task Force is on-schedule for reaching the milestone target dates listed below.
Q1 key releases include: Classic v1.0.5 Hotfix, Classic v1.0.5 Binance Whitelist, Cosmos SDK Upgrade to v0.45.11, Tendermint upgrade to v0.34.24, and Classic release v2.0.4
Current Status
- All items are currently on schedule and within budget
Sprint #1 Jan 9 to Jan 20th
The majority of items within sprint #1 have been completed, with two remaining items currently undergoing testing (in-review).
The L1 Sprint #1 Project Board can be viewed in real-time at GitHub. The L1 Sprint #2 Project Board will be updated this upcoming Monday, following the sprint planning session.

Current Status of Funding and Payment Process
There is currently 908,000,000 LUNC from the L1 Task Force Funding proposal that is in the multisig wallet. The value of the LUNC at time of writing is $166.35k USD.
- The original proposal funding the L1 Task Force for Q1 called for a total amount of funding of $141.75k USD. As a result, there is a surplus value of ~$24.6k in the multisig account.
- In order to ensure the funding is available to pay the contracted L1 resources for the remainder of the quarter, the Terra Grants Foundation (TGF) will be swapping the $141.75k Luna Classic to USDC, which will be stored in the TGF Kraken account. This will ensure that market conditions do not negatively impact the funding available for the L1 Task Force.
- The surplus dollar amount of Luna Classic of $24.6k will remain in the multisig wallet until the end of Q1, at which time the L1 Task Force will consult with the community and create a new funding proposal for Q2, where the $24.6k surplus would be rolled into the second quarter (if the L1 Task Force is provided a Q2 mandate) or would be returned to the community pool (if the L1 Task Force was not provided a Q2 mandate).
- All payments to the L1 Task Force team members will take place at the end of the month, and will be sent via USDC.
